BJU Press Phonics & English 1 provides first-grade students with a strong foundation in reading, language, and communication skills. Through engaging phonics songs, colorful visuals, games, stories, and hands-on activities, students review familiar sounds while learning new phonetic concepts, including rhyming words, syllables, sound patterns, and word building.
