Graduate From NFC Academy 24 Credits Required For Graduation
- ​English, 4 credits
- ​Mathematics, 4 credits. Must include Algebra I and Geometry. Those in the College Preparatory Program must take Algebra II.
- ​Social Studies, 3 credits. World History, American History, and American Government and Economics are required.
- Science, 3 credits. Biology is required. Two additional science courses required with lab component. All Academy science courses are done with virtual labs from Smart Science Labs.
- Physical Education and Health, 1 credit. A total of .5 credit for each is required.
- ​Performing Arts and Practical Arts, 1 credit. Requires each .5 credit. Speech and Business Computer Applications one option for requirement.
- Bible, 1Â credit for each year in attendance at NFC Academy.
Students graduating from NFC Academy must complete the required courses and any electives totaling 24 credit hours.
A Biblical Worldview With Traditional Values
Our worldview at NFC Academy is from a biblical worldview or Christian worldview. While seminary courses provide very deep meanings of what makes up a biblical worldview, for our purposes, we will define it simply as we look to the Bible for our beliefs and how we should operate.
That means our curriculum will be written from that view – you could see that as we believe that God exists and He is our Creator, our teachers will hold that view both in their teaching and in their personal lives, and all that we do at NFC Academy will seek to have such a view to how we operate.

Virtual Labs
Students taking Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physical Science and Physics will take their assigned labs from Smart Science Labs. Families find our virtual labs educationally sound and significantly less expensive than purchasing equipment and supplies. Typical cost for Smart Science Labs is under $50 per year for all labs required.
Our virtual lab experience provides to the student a consistent lab experience with real scientific accuracy and adherence to scientific principles.
Math Video Library
NFC Academy has aligned our mathematics courses’ daily assignments with supplemental instructional videos from Khan Academy, Math is Power 4U, and other math online helps providers.
Combining these extra videos with the instructional material in the curriculum and work of the NFC Academy teacher with students makes for a more successful learning experience. These additional resources for math practice and instructional review are available to all students enrolled at NFC Academy from third grade through high school. ​
Online Library
Gale in Context High School provides to the student a comprehensive research option that spans the curriculum meeting academic standards. The student will find biographies, essays, and cross-curricular topics giving the student everything needed for their research without leaving their computer.
