History and Geography 700 continues the process of developing in students an understanding of and appreciation for God’s activity as seen in the record of man and his relationships. The 7th grade homeschool curriculum surveys the social sciences, by covering history, geography, anthropology, sociology, economics, and political science. These areas of focus target all five major content strands: History, Geography, Government and Citizenship, Economics, and Social Studies Skills. This course is broad in scope, providing middle school students with a comprehensive overview of the social sciences including history and geography. Students begin the course by defining history and geography and their relationship to humanity over the ages. Students will also examine the many social science disciplines including social behavior, markets and competition, politics, economics, and anthropology.
