Frequently Asked Questions
Why Are Other States Which Offer Scholarships Not Included
There can be a variety of reasons, but the most common is that each state sets the rules for schools to qualify, and often schools are required to be completely located in the state.
Are Your Programs for State Scholarship Programs the Same As Those Presented On Your Website.
Yes. When you purchase one of NFC Academy’s online programs through a state scholarship program, you receive the exact same K–12 online program presented on our website. The curriculum, courses, and educational program do not change because you are using scholarship funds.
What may differ is simply how the program is purchased. Each state and Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) has its own requirements for how approved schools and vendors may offer their programs.
NFC Academy is approved as a school in the states we currently serve. In one state, we are approved as both a school and a vendor, which allows us to offer additional purchasing options.
Our Admissions Team can help you understand the options and purchasing process available in your state.
How Do I Enroll My Child At NFC Academy As A Scholarship Paremt.
The enrollment process varies by state and may also depend on your Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). In general, families using a state scholarship should not complete NFC Academy’s standard online application. Instead, enrollment is initiated through the process established by your SGO.
Our Admissions Team will be glad to guide you through the specific requirements and next steps for your state. The state information provided above offers a general overview of the scholarship programs we currently serve and can help you get started.
Are The Cost for Scholarship Families the Same as Families Without Scholarships
Yes. NFC Academy’s tuition for full-time students is the same for all families, whether or not they are using scholarship funds.
The difference may be in the payment schedule, not the cost of the program. Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) may establish payment schedules that correspond with when scholarship funds are distributed.
When approved by the SGO, NFC Academy offers scholarship families annual, semi-annual, and quarterly payment options. Families who are not using a scholarship may choose from annual, semi-annual, and monthly payment options.
Our Admissions Team can provide the specific payment options available through your state’s scholarship program.
