Enrollment Policies
An enrollment consists of a student’s registration in one-semester or full-year online academic programs offered by NFC Academy for Kindergarten through Grade 12.
This policy applies only to tuition and fees charged by NFC Academy. Dual enrollment courses offered through partnering colleges are governed by the refund and withdrawal policies of the respective college or university.
A full academic year consists of 180 instructional school days regardless of the student’s enrollment date. One-semester enrollments generally include approximately 18 weeks of asynchronous instruction, while full-year enrollments include approximately 36 weeks of instruction. School holidays are included within the student’s academic year.

State Scholarship Programs
Students using a state scholarship or Education Savings Account (ESA) program pay the same tuition as families who enroll directly with NFC Academy. The tuition for all academic programs is the same as the published tuition shown on the Cost of Programs page of the NFC Academy website, regardless of whether payment is made directly by the family or through an approved Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) or ESA program.
Likewise, any tuition discounts offered by NFC Academy are available to both direct-pay families and families enrolling through an approved state scholarship or ESA program. When a student is enrolled through a scholarship program, discounts are processed in accordance with the procedures established by the applicable SGO or ESA administrator. In most cases, once the student’s enrollment has been confirmed by the scholarship organization, the applicable discount will be returned as a credit to the family’s scholarship account rather than issued directly to the parent.
Students enrolled through a state scholarship or ESA program remain subject to the policies and procedures established by the applicable SGO or ESA administrator. This includes enrollment procedures, payment processing, invoicing requirements, and any refund policies required by the scholarship program. Unless otherwise required by the scholarship administrator, NFC Academy’s published policies apply equally to both direct-pay and scholarship-funded enrollments.
NFC Academy’s goal is to provide every family with the same accredited, biblically based educational program at the same published tuition, regardless of the method of payment. Families considering enrollment through a state scholarship or ESA program are encouraged to contact our Admissions Office with any questions regarding program eligibility, scholarship procedures, or payment requirements.
Other Information
Extension Policy
Students are expected to complete all coursework within twelve (10) calendar months of their official start date, or typically within five (5) calendar months for a semester. The maximum amount of time to complete a year’s work is within a twelve-month period. Any extension of time beyond the standard months must be requested from NFC Academy. There is usually no additional cost for an eleventh month; however, there is an additional tuition charge in the NFC Academy’s Teacher Program for the twelfth month.Â
Students who maintain consistent academic progress may receive an extension through the eleventh month without additional tuition.
Students enrolled in the NFC Academy Teacher Program who require a twelfth month to complete their coursework will be assessed one additional month’s tuition.
Extensions beyond twelve months are granted only in exceptional circumstances, such as a documented extended medical condition or other significant life event approved by the Academy.
Authorized Representatives
Only individuals listed on the student’s enrollment application or subsequently authorized by the parent or legal guardian in writing may make decisions or requests concerning the student’s enrollment, billing, or academic record.
