Creation and Science
This is a required assignment for the Biology Honor’s course and must be completed in its entirety. If this assignment is skipped or turned in blank by the student, it will be reassigned by the teacher until completed satisfactorily.
Evolutionary Theory and Intelligent Design – Both Evolutionary Theory and Intelligent Design are studied by scientists, and both are affected by the world view and assumptions made by the scientists who interpret experiments and mathematical models. At what point does the support for either evolutionary theory or intelligent design slide from a foundation of solid experimental science to a foundation of a desired outcome and a pre-existing bias? For this assignment, view the three videos below presenting support for Intelligent Design.
- Write a response to the videos in one paragraph.
- Following this, complete a research report comparing and contrasting the strengths and weaknesses of Evolutionary Theory and Intelligent Design using a minimum of 3 references. The report is to be a minimum of 800 words. Include a Bibliography listing the resources and references used to write the report.
