Getting Started at NFC Academy

We’re excited that you’re considering NFC Academy for your student’s education! Below is a step-by-step guide to help you through the application and enrollment process—from submitting your online application to beginning your student’s academic journey.

Complete the Online Application

Begin your enrollment process by visiting the Admissions section on the NFC Academy website. Click the “Apply Now” link at the top of this page or the “Apply Now” button at the bottom to access the NFC Academy Online Application.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • You’ll create a personal account so you can save your progress and return to the application at any time.
  • If enrolling multiple students, you can include them all within one application.
  • Use the calendar tool under “Select a Start Date” to choose an available date that works best for your student.

Once submitted, your application will be received by our Admissions Office. You will receive an email confirmation on the same day or by the next business day. This email will also provide details about:

  • Academic records being requested
  • Next steps in the enrollment process

You’ll continue receiving updates via email as we receive academic records and progress your enrollment. A dedicated team member will contact you within three school days to assist with:

  • Course placement for online students
  • Shipping details for print-based program students
  • Video streaming information and more for the Digital Streaming program

Academic Records Required

To properly place your student, NFC Academy requires previous academic records. Students may begin their courses using unofficial records, but official records must be submitted by the end of the first semester.

What to submit:

  • Grades 1–8: The most recent report card showing the current grade level.
  • High School: A recent transcript showing completed and in-progress coursework.
  • A copy of the birth certificate is also required for all students.

Submitting accurate records helps ensure your student is placed correctly and avoids any delays in future course requirements.

Course Approval Steps

For Grades 1–8:

  • You will receive an Academic Plan from the enrollment office.

  • This plan shows the courses your student will take for the year.

  • Please review and sign the Academic Plan electronically to approve the courses.

For Grades 9–12:

  • You will receive a Path to Graduation at home.

  • This document lists the courses your students typically take at grade level to ensure graduation requirements are being met.  Some changes can be made as you work with the Enrollment Team.

  • Please review and sign the Path to Graduation electronically.

Orientation: Preparing for a Confident Start

While we finalize your student’s program, we ask that both the student and parent complete the NFC Academy Orientation Session. This step ensures you’re fully informed, confident, and ready to begin.

Choose the format that fits your schedule:

✅ Live Orientation Sessions

Participate in an interactive, live session based on your student’s grade level and academic program. Ask questions and engage directly with our academic support team.

✅ Recorded Orientation Sessions

Prefer flexibility? Our recorded sessions are available on-demand through our website and provide a complete overview of the program experience.

Orientation will guide you through:

  • How to navigate your student’s 3rd-12th grade online learning platform, K-2 print-based book program, or K-2 the digital streaming video textbook progam.
  • Tools and resources available to help your student succeed
  • How to easily reach our team for support and guidance
  • Tips for staying on track throughout the academic year

Our goal is to equip you with everything you need for a smooth and successful start.

Final Step: Getting Started

Once your student’s program is set and orientation is complete, we’ll send your Welcome Letter email, along with instructions for your next step:

Activate Enrollment with Your First Tuition Payment:
