A Biblical Worldview

Our worldview at NFC Academy is from a biblical worldview or Christian worldview. While seminary courses provide very deep meanings of what makes up a biblical worldview, for our purposes, we will define it simply as we look to the Bible for our beliefs and how we should operate.

That means our curriculum will be written from that view – you could see that as we believe that God exists and He is our Creator, our teachers will hold that view both in their teaching and in their personal lives, and all that we do at NFC Academy will seek to have such a view to how we operate.

Our worldview reminds us of the traditional family values that have been a part of our nation’s history in education and just about all aspects of life from its founding. To learn more about our worldview visit Our Worldview web page.

Flexibility With A Successful Ending Is The Plan

Students enrolled in an asynchronous school like NFC Academy have the flexibility to create a daily schedule that works best for their individual needs, rather than being tied to a fixed clock or traditional hourly school structure. This freedom allows families to build a learning routine that fits their lifestyle, while still maintaining steady academic progress. Although students are not required to follow a strict timetable, we strongly recommend establishing a consistent daily schedule that includes dedicated time for coursework and study.

Planning your day intentionally is key to success in this environment. Be sure to set aside enough time each day to complete assignments thoroughly and stay on pace. While the asynchronous format offers valuable flexibility, student success ultimately depends on consistent effort and the timely completion of all required coursework. Staying focused on finishing each course well ensures readiness for the next academic year and promotes a strong sense of accomplishment.

Each student at NFC Academy completes a 180-day school year, regardless of their start date. Because the program operates year-round, students can begin at any time and progress at their own pace. School is open twelve months a year, with closures only on traditional holidays, which are incorporated into each student’s academic calendar. This structure provides both flexibility and accountability, helping students achieve a successful and well-rounded educational experience.
