—Welcome to Mr. Dan Scott’s Class—

My Classroom At NFC Academy

Along with all the others at NFC Academy our goal is to make your time as a student a great experience for each of our students.  You have a lot of options and flexibility as a student at NFCA. While we always recommend you have a designated study time for each school day…you do have flexibility of when you study. Of course, as you get older the that time of flexibility will grow to fit your other plans.  For now and even then remember doing your daily work is important and getting behind can make it harder to get caught up. We do monthly academic reports that show how much work you have done in each course…these reports are to help keep you on track to finish your school year on time. Let your teacher know your daily study time and they will be better able to be prepared to help you when you need it.

My name is Dan Scott.  I have been in Christian Education for 20 years.  I have taught at North Florida Christian School in both the fourth and fifth grades.  I also serve as the Lower School Dean of Students.  My wife Rachelle and I have been married for 21 years and have two boys, Will (15) and Wesley (10).   I enjoy hunting and fishing with my boys and playing guitar in church.  Mrs. Scott and I love trying new restaurants and collecting antiques.  I have a goal of seeing all fifty states and eating at every good barbeque restaurant I can find!
