Heather Lightsey has been a teacher for approximately 15 years. She earned her Elementary Education degree from Flagler College. She teaches mostly History and Geography for the Academy.  Heather is also the Director of a Homeschool Co-op and serves in the church orchestra, among other ministries within her church.  She also coaches Archery, alongside her husband, and travels around the state taking the team to competitions. Heather has always known that the Lord was guiding her to become a teacher one day and it has been a blessing to still be teaching. She enjoys playing the flute, reading, chicken farming, gardening and fishing in her spare time. One of Heather’s favorite verses is Romans 8:28: ” And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.”
