Janell Cone Penny, a 1979 alumni of NFCS, is a highly experienced educator with more than 30 years of service in the educational system. She holds a BS Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Tennessee Temple University.  She has honed her leadership skills both in and out of the classroom by serving as an Assistant Principal and advanced level English language instructor, as well as being an adjunct professor for Columbia International University.  She brings these skills to NFCS where she serves as Director of Guidance and to NFCA where she serves as an English instructor.

She is committed to serving the students and families of North Florida Christian Academy with excellence and is excited to help students achieve their best in academics and other student life areas.

In addition to her professional work, Ms. Penny enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has the most fun when she is babysitting for her three grandchildren.
