The NFC Academy Home Teacher – Homeschool Edition for Grades 6-8 provides an accredited middle school program where parents serve as the primary teacher while receiving guidance from an NFC Academy Resource Teacher. Students complete five core courses: Bible, History, Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. These courses strengthen key academic skills and prepare students for high school level studies. NFC Academy prepares an Individual Academic Plan for the student’s grade level to ensure the correct courses are selected and academic progress remains on track. In this Quarter 1 program, the parent leads daily instruction, reviews assignments, and completes grading responsibilities while the NFC Academy Resource Teacher provides guidance and support. Advanced Math Option: Qualified 8th grade students may take Algebra I instead of standard middle school math after review by the Admissions team.
