LIFEPAC 1st Grade Language Arts is a comprehensive phonics-based language course which integrates phonics, reading, and grammar into one fun-filled homeschool course. Ten colorful worktexts, five vocabulary-controlled readers and a complete teacher’s guide make this a great choice for parents looking for an easy-to-use reading program! Reading Basics, a set of five required beginning-level readers, are included in this NFC Academy curriculum set.

Teaching reading with LIFEPAC from NFC Academy can help! Building on a foundation of basic phonics readiness skills, LIFEPAC 1st grade Language Arts teaches reading through a systematic presentation and application of sequential phonics.

Ten worktexts in this NFC Academy curriculum present phonics instruction in a colorful, fun format, while the application of newly acquired phonics skills is encouraged through the use of vocabulary-controlled stories. As your child progresses through this appealing course, he will encounter skills such as rhyming words, consonant digraphs and blends, vowel digraphs, R-controlled vowels, and diphthongs as well as some basic grammar skills.
