These sessions are for newly enrolled students in the Kindergarten and Book Program Grades 1-4. If you are not enrolled yet but are interested in NFC Academy, please register for one the Admissions Open House meetings and the Admission Staff will be able to answer all your questions. There is another session for enrolled families on grading in the Book Program. Please see that information using the button below to return to the Parent Resource page.
This session provides new families with information about the homeschool curriculum LIFEPAC and basic grading using the state of Florida’s ten-point grading scale for grades 1-4 which is required as a private Christian school registered with the Department of Education in Florida. Kindergarten grading is different and will be covered in our session. Communication options including policies regarding attendance and participation including the 180-school day school year and following the NFC Academy Daily Lesson Planner so you know you will finish your school year when expected. Resources for both students and home teachers. Information about our accrediting partners, Cognia/SACS, Middle States, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) will be covered. Those attending will have an opportunity to ask questions.
